We are very happy to welcome Diana Shangguan back at Nøsen in 2024 and host this unique opportunity to study with her for 5 days!

This retreat will provide a rich context for each individual with a diverse level of practice. The interconnectedness among different traditions, the philosophical and contemplative background of the tradition, and its intelligent application to real-world practice will be emphasized. We will start the day with morning meditation.

The asana practices will be based on the Ashtanga vinyasa style, with full support for practitioners from other styles. The philosophy session will focus on the highlights in the Yoga Sutra and Bhagavad Gita, about other sutras and classic stories. Adaptive variations, hands-on adjustments, pranayama explication, sound healing, etc. will be integrated and explored, especially during the afternoon-themed workshops.
