Welcome to an intensive week of Tai chi and Qi gong.
Here, movement quality, coordination and relaxation are in focus.
Over the course of five days, we will learn the 37 movements form in Chen Man Ching's tradition. In addition, we will learn Qi gong movements and more about breathing. We will also look at push hands exercises, pair exercises that can be understood as communication, sensing, fighting and dancing, both guided and free.
The retreat is also suitable for those of you who have learned the form before and want to restart the practice.
Video links are shared along the way, where individual movements and the entire form can be studied also after the retreat has ended.
After the retreat, you should be able to practice Tai chi and Qi gong and implement the principles in everyday life.
Yang style 37 form is one of the Tai chi movement sequences that is most practiced in the Western world. In addition to creating something aesthetic with our bodies, Tai chi can help us stay upright in everyday life, improve balance and coordination, strength and the ability to be relaxed, even in challenging situations.
