A classic mountain lodge, located in the stunning region of Valdres. We can never get enough of the ever-changing landscape we are blessed to live in. With every season, a new, beautiful Nøsen is revealed.

Yoga

Nøsen and yoga are one and the same. Sharing and growing through yogic principles, our daily practice is the backbone of life here. Every morning you can start the day with an Astanga yoga class and before dinner we hold a gentle, relaxing yoga class, to help you unwind. We regularly arrange courses and workshops with Norwegian and international yoga teachers, each brining a unique and special approach to the practice. Our yoga shalas have amazing views of Storfjorden lake and surrounding mountains to inspire you.  

Festivals and Retreats

We love nothing more than the buzz of excitement when we hold an event. Bringing in a wide range of experts from around the world, we regularly host festivals, courses, workshops and retreats. We've held events for everyone, from teenagers, to over-65's to families. It's hard to distill the amazing experiences we share in a handful of photos, but here is a glimpse of what you can expect.

Food

Madhu and Lukas are our two responsible chefs. Both are very committed to creating good healthy food that satisfies our taste and senses. We aim to offer the best vegetarian food based on Ayurvedic principles and modern science, using seasonal products and food that promotes health and well-being. Our goal is to create a meal that is tasty, healthy, nutritious and a party to the eye.

Volunteers

Nøsen Yoga Retreat is run by our committed volunteers who contribute to a good atmosphere we have here.

Accommodation

Cosy, warm and airy, these are the rooms you'll stay in at Nøsen. We have accommodation for families, friends and solo guests, each with shower-rooms and views to boot. 

Nature Adventures

Here at Nøsen we are blessed with Valdres's epic landscape; it is truly nature's playground! From cross-country skiing, hiking and ice baths to canoeing, SUP yoga and games in the garden, you'll find endless activities to help you connect with each other and nature. The union of yoga and nature was fundamental to Nøsen's inception.
