Set in the quiet, expansive landscape of Nøsen, this retreat is an invitation to slow down and listen - to your body, your breath, and the subtle signals that are often missed in everyday life.

Over the weekend, we move through a carefully structured yet fluid program combining flow-based classes and focused workshops. Practices progress from grounding and gentle landing sessions into deeper work with spinal mobility, active flexibility, backbends, inversions, and hip work, always with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and embodiment.

Workshops offer time to explore technique, strength, and breath, helping you understand how to move more efficiently and with less effort. Inversions are approached step by step and integrated with practices that support circulation, lymphatic flow, and nervous system regulation, with space for rest and integration.

This retreat is suitable for practitioners with some movement or yoga experience who are looking to deepen their practice in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

You’ll leave feeling more open and stable in your body, clearer in your movement, and deeply reconnected to yourself.

Francesca Golfetto

Hey, I am Francesca, Italian, based in Norway, and movement has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I spent most of my early life as a professional ballet dancer, where discipline, structure, and precision shaped both my body and the way I related to movement.

After ballet, I found my way into Ashtanga yoga and was certified by Manju Jois to teach both the Primary and Intermediate series. For many years, that strong and structured practice supported me deeply.

During my first pregnancy, though, Ashtanga no longer fit my body or my nervous system in the same way. That moment became a turning point. I began bringing elements of my dance background back into my practice - fluidity, transitions, softness, curiosity - and slowly started shaping a style that felt more responsive, embodied, and alive.

Today, my practice and teaching are rooted in fluid movement, mobility, active flexibility, and deep embodiment. I want movement to be a conversation - something that teaches me, helps me release what I’m holding, and supports what my body actually needs in that moment. The practices I create are not about forcing shapes, but about exploring movement in a way that feels personal, intelligent, and supportive of each individual body.

I believe deeply in structure and alignment - they give us safety and clarity - but I also believe we can sometimes become too rigid in them. I love playing with variations, pathways, and different expressions of a pose so that the practice adapts to the body, rather than the body adapting to the pose.

Creating a lighthearted, open, and playful atmosphere in my classes is very important to me. I want people to feel free to explore, to listen, and to move with curiosity rather than pressure.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to share this work internationally, through retreats, festivals, and events around the world, as well as online. I run an online studio and wellness platform where yoga is combined with tools for nervous system regulation, lymphatic release, cortisol balance, and restorative practices - because for me, movement is not separate from overall wellbeing.

At the heart of everything I teach is this: movement as a way to feel, to regulate, to release, and to come back home to yourself.
