Sauna rituals
A two-hour guided ritual with Hilde: four sauna rounds, each followed by rest, tea and a cold dip. Hallingskarvet close at your side.

With Hilde Karlsen, Molly and Sam. Four days of sauna rituals, wild swims, mountain walks, yin yoga, breathwork and nourishing food.

In the mountains there is a space where the body can rest, the breath expands and the mind becomes quiet. Here there is no right way and no expectations: just the mountains, your body, your breath, and whatever unfolds when you slow down.
Hilde, Molly and Sam come together again for four days of stillness, movement and moments of song, to help you land in yourself and in the nature around Nøsen.
A two-hour guided ritual with Hilde: four sauna rounds, each followed by rest, tea and a cold dip. Hallingskarvet close at your side.
A shared walk through the landscape around Nøsen, sometimes in silence, sometimes in conversation. Look up, look down, lie in the moss, listen.
Down to the lake below Nøsen to bathe in clean mountain water. You can swim and drink at the same time.
Restorative postures, a guided chakra meditation, gentle breathwork and yoga nidra with Molly, to calm the nervous system and restore energy.
Sam and Molly of Heal Saunas lead a two-hour ritual with heat and cold, homemade skin treatments, foraged leaf whisks and herbal infusions.
Lives at Ustaoset below Hallingskarvet with three dogs and runs Vinternatt. A trained singer, she weaves song and sound into her rituals.
Hilde lives high in the mountains at Ustaoset, between Bergen and Oslo and between two national parks. She is trained as a singer, outdoor guide and sauna master, and has guided people through every season: ice bathing, sauna rituals, ice fishing, snowshoe hikes, sleeping outdoors and children's camps. She walks daily below Hallingskarvet, gathering the herbs, plants and berries she shares with you in the sauna.
Trained in Goa. With her husband Sam she hosts sauna ceremonies from their home in Cambridge, and forages the leaf whisks herself.
Molly's yoga began with traditional training in Goa, India, and led her to breathwork, helping people reconnect body and mind through conscious breathing. She forages local leaf whisks, makes herbal remedies, and tends a medicinal herb garden that supplies many of the plants she uses. Her approach is gentle and caring.
A carpenter who builds saunas from natural materials. Knows his trees, plants and wild food, and brings them into the sauna.
Sam builds saunas that join traditional craft with natural materials, drawing on a deep knowledge of trees and their properties. He knows medicinal plants, edible fungi and wild food, and often brings them into his sauna sessions, whether through carpentry, foraging walks or ceremonies.
