Welcome to a retreat where you can soften your shoulders, reconnect with your breath, and give yourself space for rest and presence. Through gentle fascia yoga, calm morning practices, breathwork, mindfulness, sound baths, and time in nature, you are invited to land more deeply within yourself.

This retreat is not about performance, but about softening. About listening to the body with kindness and allowing the nervous system to return to calm, balance, and natural vitality.

Through slow and nourishing practices, we strengthen our connection to what is gentle and alive within us. When the body is met with awareness rather than pressure, many experience a release of tension, freer breathing, and a deeper sense of inner peace.

The retreat includes:

  • Gentle restorative fascia yoga (yogasomatics)

  • Calm morning flow yoga

  • Breathing exercises and techniques that support the autonomic nervous system

  • Mindfulness and presence practices

  • Gong baths and sound journeys

  • Walking meditation in the nature surrounding Nøsen

  • Plenty of time for rest, reflection, and personal space

The fascia plays an important role in the body’s mobility, stability, and inner connection. Through soft, slow movements and long, restful postures, the body is invited to release unnecessary tension — especially in areas such as the neck, shoulders, and lower back. At the same time, the nervous system is given time and space to settle, allowing the body to return more naturally to balance.

The afternoons are spacious and quiet, offering time for mountain walks, rest by the fireplace, silence, or simply being. You will have the opportunity to absorb the experience at your own pace while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and nourishing food that Nøsen is known for.

The retreat is open to everyone, whether you are completely new to yoga or have many years of experience. The practices are gentle, accessible, and adapted to each individual. There is space here to come exactly as you are.

Tools for a calmer nervous system

An important part of the retreat is that you not only experience calm while you are here — you will also leave with simple and practical tools you can use in everyday life.

You will learn gentle breathing techniques, regulating exercises, and how conscious awareness can support balance in the autonomic nervous system. Together, we explore how to meet stress, restlessness, and overwhelm with greater safety, self-compassion, and body awareness.

The intention is that you return home with a deeper understanding of your own nervous system — and with supportive tools for navigating a fast-paced life.

Relaxing sound baths

During the relaxing sound baths, Nanne Emelie uses gong, singing bowls, voice, and other resonant instruments. The sounds move through the body like soft vibrations and can feel like an inner massage for the nervous system.

Many describe the experience as deeply relaxing, meditative, and grounding. For some, it becomes an inward journey; for others, a long-awaited pause from the pace of daily life. Often, a sense of stillness, wholeness, and deep rest arises in the body afterward.
