You can now design your own retreat weekend in the mountains for space to breathe. Choose how much or how little you’d like to do. This is entirely your time to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
Yoga — Move in Your Own Rhythm
Our yoga sessions are designed to gently guide you back into your body and presence. You can book the ones that suit your personal schedule and energy — no full program required.
Saturday: 08:00–09:00 (morning flow or soft yoga to wake the body and mind)
Saturday: 17:00–18:00 (slow, grounding yin session)
Sunday: 08:00–09:00 (morning flow or soft yoga to wake the body and mind)
Each class welcomes all levels and is taught with attention to breath, alignment, and inner awareness. You can attend one, two, or all sessions — or skip a class to rest, read, or wander outside. Everything about this weekend is optional and intuitive.
Activities — Nature, Stillness, and Connection
Outside of yoga, the mountains offer countless ways to reconnect — with nature, your senses, and yourself. You can start the day with a cold plunge in clear mountain water, a refreshing ritual that awakens every cell in your body and sharpens your focus.
For those who love to move, hiking trails begin right outside the door, leading you through forests and panoramic views that remind you how small and free you are in nature’s vastness.
Or maybe what you need most is stillness. Maybe a massage or curling up by the chimney fire with a cup of tea, a book, or your thoughts. Our common spaces are calm and perfect for journaling, deep conversation, or simply doing nothing at all. You’re invited to follow your own rhythm: to rest when you need to, explore when you want to, and take each moment as it comes.
Food — Nourishment Made with Care
We provide three fresh, vegetarian meals a day, thoughtfully prepared by our amazing chefs. Each dish is made with local ingredients and a focus on balance — warm, colorful, and full of flavor.
Breakfast is light and energizing, with fruits, grains, and homemade touches like jam and sourdough bread. Lunch is hearty giving you strength for the day’s adventures and dinner is grounding and on the lighter side, the kind that makes you feel calm for a good night’s rest.
We happily adjust our meals to fit allergies, intolerances, or special wishes, so that everyone can enjoy their food fully and with ease. Just let us know in advance what you need and we’ll make sure it’s taken care of.

Twin room (2 people sharing): 3,100 NOK per person
Single room w/ private bathroom: 4,200 NOK per person

About BITR – Back in the Ring
Our hotel is run by a dedicated mix of staff and volunteers, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Some of our volunteers join us through Back in the Ring (BITR) – a transformative program that supports people in rebuilding confidence, resilience, and purpose after life’s challenges. They take part in daily operations while developing practical skills, building community connections, and engaging in personal growth activities. This means you may meet people from all walks of life, each contributing in their own way to the Nøsen experience.
