Welcome to the Winter Retreat: Skiing and Yoga
Welcome to a winter week filled with calm, presence, and the magic of nature at the beautiful Nøsen Yoga and Mountain Hotel. Here, you can breathe in the crisp mountain air, feel the spark of energy in your body while skiing — and then sink into stillness and deep rest through yoga, gong baths, and sound journeys.
What You Can Expect
Morning:
Gentle flow yoga to open the body and energize you for the day, with a focus on shoulders, hips, and legs — perfect after (or before) skiing.
Daytime:
Free time to enjoy the mountains — go cross-country skiing, or simply wander in nature and soak in the silence.
Afternoon:
Calming restorative yoga sessions, breathing techniques, gong baths, and sound journeys that invite deep relaxation and a sense of inner exploration.
Mindfulness:
Choose between time in nature or guided practices focused on the heart–brain connection. On the first day, we begin with a walking meditation, making it easy to bring mindfulness with you onto the ski trails.
Evening:
Cozy moments by the fireplace, connection, and tranquility after a day filled with both activity and deep inner rest.
About Nanne Emelie Andersen
Nanne Emelie Andersen is a yoga and meditation teacher, craniosacral therapist, sound therapist, singer, and musician.
She has practiced yoga and meditation for more than 20 years — a journey that began at the age of 19, when she fell in love with the world of yoga. Already as a child, she began exploring meditation, which has since become a daily practice and a lifelong companion.
As a craniosacral therapist, Nanne Emelie has a deep fascination with the body’s connective tissue and nervous system. She weaves this knowledge into her yoga teaching and has developed an increasingly gentle, compassionate, and healing approach to the body — where movement, breath, and relaxation merge together.
When she discovered fascia yoga, she truly found her home in a style of yoga that combines the meditative, flowing, and sensory. In her teaching, she incorporates the power of sound — using singing bowls, gong, and other instruments — to create space for deep rest, presence, and inner peace.
She holds two RYT200 certifications in alignment vinyasa yoga, as well as further training in restorative and somatic yoga. This gives her a strong foundation, while her unique approach is shaped by intuition, music, and the body’s natural rhythm.
At this retreat, Nanne Emelie will share her experience through restorative fascia yoga, gentle flow yoga, gong and sound baths, breathing exercises, energy practices, and meditation — all with the intention of creating balance, calm, and a deep connection with yourself.
