Welcome to a spring retreat where you can let your shoulders soften, breathe more deeply, and offer yourself the care you so often give to others. This is an invitation to turn your attention inward — through gentle yoga, gong baths, and mindful presence — and rediscover the natural life force that already lives within you.

Through calm and nourishing practices, we strengthen the gentle and vital qualities within ourselves. When we practice meeting the body with kindness and listening to its signals, a more natural sense of energy and vitality begins to arise — not by pushing, but by softening.

The retreat includes gentle fascia yoga, a slow morning flow, mindfulness and presence practices, breathing techniques that support the autonomic nervous system, gong and sound baths, and walking meditation in the nature surrounding Nøsen.

The fascia plays an important role in the body’s flexibility and inner connectivity. When we move slowly and with awareness, many people experience less stiffness and tension — especially in the neck and lower back — along with a deeper sense of calm in the body. We give the nervous system the time and space it needs to settle, allowing the body to return to its natural balance.

The afternoons offer plenty of time for rest, mountain walks, reflection, and quiet moments. You can integrate the experiences at your own pace while enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings and the nourishing food served at the retreat center.

The structure of the retreat is safe and clear, while still leaving space to adapt the program to the needs of the group. Here, you are welcome exactly as you are.

No previous experience with yoga is required. The practices are gentle and accessible, suitable both for complete beginners and for those with long-standing experience. This retreat is for anyone who wishes to soften — not to perform.

A warm welcome to a weekend where inner peace and life force can grow side by side.

Tools for Balancing the Nervous system

An important part of the retreat is that you don’t only experience calm in the moment — you also leave with simple and practical tools you can use in everyday life.

You will learn gentle breathing techniques, small regulating exercises, and mindful ways of using your attention to support balance in the autonomic nervous system. We will explore how to recognize the body’s signals and meet both restlessness and stress with greater safety and self-compassion.

The intention is that you return home feeling more familiar with your own nervous system — and with a sense of confidence in how you can support yourself when life moves quickly.

Gongbath & Sound Journey

During the gong bath and sound journey, Nanne Emelie uses a gong, singing bowls, voice, and other resonant instruments. The sound moves through the body like soft waves and can feel like an inner massage. Many describe the experience as deeply relaxing, meditative, and comforting.

For some, it becomes an inward journey. For others, a long-awaited pause. Often people leave with a feeling of being more whole, centered, and calm within the body.

About Nanne Emilie

Nanne Emelie Andersen is a yoga and meditation teacher, craniosacral therapist, sound therapist, and musician. She has more than 25 years of experience with yoga and meditation, and since childhood she has had a natural connection to inner work and stillness.

As a therapist, she has a particular focus on fascia and the nervous system, and her teaching reflects a gentle, holistic, and respectful approach. She believes the body should never be pushed, but rather met with listening, patience, and kindness.

She is currently continuing her education in holotropic breathwork, and her calm, grounded presence creates a safe space where participants can slow down and simply be themselves.
