Enjoy the Easter holiday with yoga that actually gives something back
Nøsen invites you, together with Alexander Medin, to a Sadhana Intensive over Easter:
27.03.2026 – 01.04.2026 or 01.04.2026 – 06.04.2026
This is an in-depth immersion suitable both for enthusiastic beginners and experienced practitioners who wish to strengthen and clarify their own practice.
A practice you can carry forward – into everyday life
Through five calm and focused days, you will have the opportunity to go deeply into yoga together with Alexander, who has several decades of practice, study, and teaching behind him. The focus is not on performance or external form, but on building a sustainable personal practice – with tools you can actually continue to use in life.
Alexander will shed light on:
what classical yoga truly points toward
how yoga has developed in different directions in modern times
what various styles and methods have in common
how technique, breath, concentration, and understanding are connected
The aim is to give you a clearer, more holistic understanding of yoga – and help you find your own way into the practice, regardless of level.
A structure that allows for depth
The course is adapted to the participants’ experience. The group is divided into two levels so that everyone receives relevant guidance and safe progression.
The days include, among other things:
early morning meditation / japa
guided practice or Mysore-style practice
pranayama and technique
an introduction to classical yoga texts and basic philosophy
calmer afternoon sessions focusing on integration, breath, and understanding
The pace is thoughtful and balanced – enough structure to go deep, and enough space to settle.
Nature, stillness, and simple luxury
Nøsen is located in the middle of magnificent, undisturbed nature. Every day there is plenty of time to be outdoors – whether you want to go for a walk, go skiing, or simply let the silence do its work. Cross-country ski trails with panoramic views start right outside the door. Alpine skiing is 10 minutes away at Vaset and about 30 minutes to Hemsedal. Skis can be borrowed on site.
If you prefer stillness, it is also perfectly possible to retreat with a book, sit by the fireplace, or simply rest.
Food and accommodation
We serve tasty, nourishing vegetarian food, prepared to support the practice. Three meals daily, as well as accommodation, are included in the price.
This is for you if you:
want to understand yoga more deeply – not just do exercises
want to build a practice that actually works in everyday life
want a beautiful holiday
seek stillness, clarity, and direction
are new to yoga but curious
or have practiced for a long time and wish to return to the essence
Welcome to an Easter filled with meaning, depth, and space to breathe.
A warm welcome to Nøsen.
