With Trine Tschudi, Alexander Medin and Signe Mosebø. A weekend of yoga, Pilates, yoga philosophy, meditation and a guided sauna ritual, open to all levels.
Overview
A weekend of calm, movement and new inspiration that lasts long after you get home. Welcome to a nourishing yoga and Pilates weekend at Nøsen, where mountains, silence and community make the setting for going deeper, moving and resting.
Through a mix of yoga, Pilates, yoga philosophy, meditation and a sensory sauna ritual, you get the chance to lower your shoulders, refill your energy and come closer to yourself.
The weekend offers a varied programme with both dynamic and calm sessions, reflection and time to enjoy nature. You need no previous experience: the retreat suits everyone, whether you are a beginner or have practised for a long time.
This weekend is about more than exercise. It is about landing, finding new energy and giving yourself time for what really matters.
The practices
Yoga
The day starts with yoga where breath and movement find a natural rhythm: a soft, focused start. After breakfast we are introduced to the philosophy behind yoga, with breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation. In the afternoon a calmer Yin practice gives rest, relaxation and deep recovery after an active day in the mountains.
Pilates
A thorough introduction to the basic principles of Pilates, an effective and enjoyable form of training that combines stability, strength and flexibility around the joints and core. It is rehabilitating and preventive for all ages and complements yoga in a balancing way.
Yoga philosophy
Learn how the interplay between body, mind and life energy can affect us in daily life. Yoga philosophy is something to lean on in life's small and large moments: a compass that gives direction, helps us stand steady and opens for a more sattvic mind marked by clarity, calm and presence. It is not about perfection, but about living more truly, with care for ourselves and the world around us.
Sauna ritual with essential oils
A guided, meditative session of relaxation and rest in the sauna, using essential oils such as eucalyptus, lavender and orange, alternating between hot and cold.
Tools to take home
Simple exercises and routines that make it easier to bring yoga and mindful presence into everyday life.
