Overview

Intention into Form is a four-day immersion in Forrest Yoga, Energy Medicine, meditation and journalling. It helps you take what you sense inwardly and begin to live it outwardly.

This retreat is for those who feel called to a physical and spiritual reset: to clear out what has become outdated, heavy or restrictive, to make space for a deeper connection to Spirit, and through that connection to hear your own intuitive voice more clearly.

This is not for the faint-hearted. Positive change often means moving against unconscious patterns, which can become so familiar that we stop seeing them as patterns at all. They simply become the way we think, react and move through life. Breaking out of autopilot can feel overwhelming and hard to do alone. This retreat is for those who truly want to grow and would value support and guidance while doing so.

Forrest Yoga and Energy Medicine form the base of the work. Each morning starts with an intensive Forrest Yoga practice woven with Energy Medicine exercises. The practice is strong and engaging, yet open to all levels. Open to all does not mean passive or easy: you get choices so you can work wisely with your own body, while being invited beyond what is familiar. The aim is not to perform advanced poses or prove anything, but to use breath, sensation and movement to notice where you hold back, disconnect or force, and what becomes possible when you stay present.

Energy Medicine gives another way to listen. Practical exercises explore how energy moves through the body, what may be draining you, and how to reconnect with vitality, presence and inner direction. Alongside this come guided meditative journeys, vision questing and journalling, to quiet the mind, open creativity and imagination, and make the voice of Spirit easier to hear.

But clarity alone is not enough. Many of us know what we want, and even what needs to change, yet the first step feels frightening, inconvenient or too far outside who we think we are. Through journalling and reflection you form your own course of action: what you want to release, what you want to nurture, and which concrete first steps support the life you want. The retreat is not about becoming somebody else by February. It is about loosening what limits your relationship with who you already are, and letting your intention take form in your choices and actions.

Come if you are willing to make an effort, receive support and take part honestly. Come with the parts of you that feel clear, hopeful, confused or resistant. We will begin there.

What to bring: a notepad or journal and a pen for the reflection, journalling and vision-questing sessions. Nøsen provides yoga mats and props, but there may not be enough for everyone. To be safe, bring your own mat, one yoga block, a yoga strap, and a bolster or a large bath towel you can roll up.

Ilias Kousis

Forrest Yoga Guardian

Ilias Kousis is a Forrest Yoga Guardian whose work brings together Forrest Yoga, Energy Medicine, meditation and intuitive exploration.

His teaching rests on the belief that practice is not only meant to make us feel calm or comfortable. Sometimes its most important purpose is to show where we disconnect, where we hide, and where we stay loyal to patterns that no longer support the life we want.

Ilias combines strong, well-sequenced and accessible physical practice with Energy Medicine exercises, meditation and journalling. He creates spaces where people feel both challenged and supported, where vulnerability does not need hiding, and where imperfection becomes part of the work.

Through classes, retreats and mentorships, Ilias invites students to listen more closely to their body, reconnect with their own voice, and turn inner clarity into grounded, courageous choices and actions.
