Overview

A retreat where you can let your shoulders drop, find your breath again and give yourself room for rest, presence and care.

Through fascia yoga (yoga somatics), breath, mindfulness and sound baths you have the chance to strengthen the contact with yourself, land in your body and find new energy, whether you need to get back to feeling well or just want a breathing space from a busy life.

Four days in the quiet of the mountains. Beautiful country, nourishing food and good surroundings frame the days and leave room for balance and new inspiration.

The retreat suits you whether you are completely new to yoga and meditation or have practised for years. What matters is not what you can do, but that you come as you are.

Over the weekend we look at how breath, movement, rest and presence can help the body back into balance. Many people find they sleep better, breathe more freely and feel more gathered after a few days of this rhythm. Others describe coming closer to themselves again, with more energy, more clarity and more contact with what they have in them.

Mornings begin quietly with breath, the heart and presence, before the practice gradually opens into more flowing movement. Afternoons bring fascia yoga, restorative practice and sound baths, with time to enjoy the mountains and let it all sink in.

Fascia and fascia yoga

Fascia runs through the whole body, connecting, surrounding and supporting the muscles and organs. It holds the body steady and lets it move, and it carries sense cells that register pressure, stretch and movement.

Through fascia yoga and yoga somatics we work with slow movement, gentle stretch and the body's own signals. The practice can bring more freedom of movement and a finer contact with the body, and what you learn carries over into other forms of yoga and movement.

Sound baths

In the sound baths Nanne Emelie uses gong, singing bowls, voice and other instruments. Sound and vibration give the body something to feel, and invite deep relaxation and rest. Many find the sound bath meditative and gathering, a chance to listen, receive and come to rest at their own pace.

Breath and mindfulness

Through simple, effective breathing practices and mindfulness we look at how the breath can help us find calm, gather our attention and handle the stress of a day. You learn techniques you can use at home, at work, or whenever you need to slow down. Small moments of conscious breathing can become valuable pauses in a busy life.

The retreat holds

  • Fascia yoga (yoga somatics)
  • Quiet morning practice that gradually opens into more flowing movement
  • Sound baths, gong baths and sound journeys
  • Restorative practice
  • Breath, the heart, presence and mindfulness
  • Mindful walking and time outdoors
  • Nourishing food and the winter mountains
  • Time to reflect, and time of your own

If you want to make it a week, you can carry straight on from this weekend into four days of skiing and yoga with Nanne Emelie. She teaches the same kind of yoga there, and you have plenty of time on your skis.

Nanne Emelie Andersen

Yoga and meditation teacher, craniosacral therapist, sound therapist, singer, and musician

Nanne Emelie Andersen is a yoga and meditation teacher, craniosacral therapist, sound therapist, singer, and musician.

She has practiced yoga and meditation for more than 20 years — a journey that began at the age of 19, when she fell in love with the world of yoga. Already as a child, she began exploring meditation, which has since become a daily practice and a lifelong companion.

As a craniosacral therapist, Nanne Emelie has a deep fascination with the body’s connective tissue and nervous system. She weaves this knowledge into her yoga teaching and has developed an increasingly gentle, compassionate, and healing approach to the body — where movement, breath, and relaxation merge together.

When she discovered fascia yoga, she truly found her home in a style of yoga that combines the meditative, flowing, and sensory. In her teaching, she incorporates the power of sound — using singing bowls, gong, and other instruments — to create space for deep rest, presence, and inner peace.

She holds two RYT200 certifications in alignment vinyasa yoga, as well as further training in restorative and somatic yoga. This gives her a strong foundation, while her unique approach is shaped by intuition, music, and the body’s natural rhythm.

At this retreat, Nanne Emelie will share her experience through restorative fascia yoga, gentle flow yoga, gong and sound baths, breathing exercises, energy practices, and meditation — all with the intention of creating balance, calm, and a deep connection with yourself.
