With pianist and Listeners' Pilot Annabel Guaita and yoga and meditation teacher Piotr Marcinów.
We explore how music, breath, and movement affect the nervous system, and how a supportive mindset can influence both body and mind. The retreat is structured with gentle yoga sessions, music listening, meditation, and conversations – all in a safe and warm community where you can be yourself, regardless of experience or background. This is suitable for everyone – both beginners and the experienced.

You do not need any prior experience with classical music, yoga, or meditation. All you need is an open mind and a willingness to listen – not only with your ears, but also with your body, senses, and your whole life experience. This program is suitable for anyone who wants to support their own health and vitality. It is also adapted for people with neurological challenges that affect movement, balance, or energy.

The days at Nøsen alternate between activity and rest. There will be time for silence, nature, reflection, and community – and you will experience how sound, breath, and thoughts can work together to give the body better flow and the mind more peace. Nøsen Yoga and Mountain Hotel has recently added new buildings, a spa, and a sauna – a place that truly invites restoration. Here you can feel the mountain quiet and let your body find its way back to balance and hope.

A retreat for listening – with the body, with the heart, and with all of you.
Maximum 20 participants.

About Annabel and Piotr

Annabel Guaita is a pianist and lives with Parkinson's, but has found ways to live well with the condition. She is currently touring with the show "Musikken som veiviser" ("Music as a Guide"), where she shares how curiosity and hope can change one's perspective on illness and adversity, and the importance of listening actively and with presence – both to music and to life itself. Annabel works as an associate professor at the Grieg Academy and holds an artistic doctoral degree in music.

She has an extensive touring career and several CD releases on Lawo Classics. She also runs her own podcast, also called Lyttelos. Read more on her website: www.lyttelos.no

Piotr Marcinów is a trained muscle therapist and practices at the Bergen MTT Center as well as through his own business, Helkropp.no. He is originally from Poland but has made his home in Bergen, specifically in Breistølen together with Annabel. With a master's degree in Indian philosophy – with a particular focus on Eastern traditions – and over 30 years of experience with yoga, meditation, and pranayama, he has developed a deep understanding of the body, mind, and the interaction between them. Read more on his website: www.helkropp.no.

They take part in daily operations while developing practical skills, building community connections, and engaging in personal growth activities.
