Inner peace creates clarity. In stillness, the inner landscape is cleansed and concerns are calmed. The internal sabotage is reduced. A new, effortless and clear attention will slowly unfold. The senses are sharpened: the sight, the smell, the sense of taste - all sensations are activated. In the immersion-into-silence process, a contact opens up to peace. We come closer to the most authentic part of ourselves, to insight and wisdom.

During this long weekend, you will have the opportunity to log off from your hectic everyday life, from interruptions, inquiries, and questions. In the magnificence of the Norwegian landscape and with others seeking harmony and silence, you will experience what it means to find peace with yourself.

The first evening you will be introduced to the theme before we step into the soft embrace of silence at bedtime. Sunday around lunchtime we will open up for dialogue again. In the quiet days, we have set up a program, which is a combination of mindfulness meditation, writing, physical exercise, short lessons with teaching and free time.

The facilitators of this retreat are Kristin Flood and Merle Levin. They have held silence retreats at a monastery in Italy since 2005 and have had many hundreds of Norwegian participants, women, and men. This is their second year facilitating a Norwegian Silent retreat at Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell.
