A soul-nourishing transition into autumn through conscious breathwork, cold exposure, forest bathing, playful movement, yoga nidra, and deep remembrance with nature and self.

Autumn is the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and turn inward. As nature prepares to rest, we are invited to slow down, let go of what no longer serves us, and awaken our inner fire for the colder months ahead.

This four-day retreat is a journey of remembrance — a return to what you already carry within. It’s an invitation to come home to your body, your mind, and the natural world, surrounded by the awe-inspiring Norwegian mountains and a like-minded community.

You’ll experience practical tools rooted in nature-based wellness to help you slow down, build resilience, and remember your vitality. Through breath, cold, movement, stillness, and connection, you’ll be guided back to your essence — your wild heart.

About Dirk Janssen

Dirk Janssen is a wild wellness coach, nature lover, and founder of Wild at Heart. He invites people to remember what they already carry within: strength, stillness, playfulness, and connection.

Through a blend of breathwork, cold exposure, playful movement, deep nature connection, and nature-based coaching — grounded in the wisdom of the five elements — he creates space to remember your untamed, essential self.

Dirk’s approach is embodied, down-to-earth, and refreshingly real. He doesn’t offer escape, but inspires a return: to your body, your breath, your inner wildness — and the natural rhythm of life.

Dirk already organized 4 retreats at Nøsen, which were very well received by the participants.

Enriching, energizing, refreshing, invigorating, nurturing, nature, amazing, fun, magical, dream, healthy, social, playful, joyful, empowering, challenging, community, sharing, informative, connective, growth, awakening, relaxing and inner peace are some of the words with which participants of previous editions summarize their experiences.
