All workshops and events advertised by us or promoted by third parties are sold subject to the following Booking Conditions.
On making a booking with us, each person travelling must accept the terms of these Booking Conditions.
Your booking is considered definite and a contract will exist between you and Nøsen only when a letter of confirmation has been sent to you. No contract will exist between us prior to our issuing the confirmation letter.
2. WORKSHOP AND HOTEL ROOM PRICES
Workshop/retreat prices and what is included is stated individually for each workshop.
Hotel room prices vary within seasons and we reserve the right to change the prices accordingly.
We reserve the right to change the prices published prior to the time that you book your stay.
3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
You can check in after 3 pm on the scheduled date of arrival unless you purchase an early check-in Extra at the hotel, subject always to availability. If you intend to arrive after 8 pm on the scheduled date of arrival you must inform the hotel otherwise our no show policy will apply.
You must check-out before 11:00 am on the scheduled date of departure unless you purchase a late check-out Extra at the hotel, subject always to availability. If you do not check out by 11:00 am then we must charge you a Late Check-Out fee till 2.00 pm, 500 kr. and after 2 pm for one night’s stay for the applicable room(s).
4. NON-SMOKING POLICY
In keeping with the global initiative and while adhering to applicable laws, we strive to accord a smoke free environment for all our guests, visitors and employees. This smoke free environment is to be maintained, and hence smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire hotel. This includes guest rooms, corridors, bars and lavatories. The no smoking policy also applies to guests visiting our conference and banqueting facilities.
Those not complying with the smoke-free law, will be committing an offence against the law. The fixed penalty notice applicable on the person smoking is kr 500.00. We kindly request you to respect the law and abstain from smoking in the hotel.
Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell is a pet-friendly hotel. We charge 300 kr extra per night for an additional cleaning. Make sure you inform us in advance about your arrival and booking the appropriate room suited for your and your beloved pet.
Pets are allowed in most of the common areas of the hotel. We do not allow the animals to enter kitchen, dining room, living room during meal times, and yoga/meditation rooms.
The owner is responsible and will carry all costs for any possible damage the animal can cause.
The animal must be under owner’s supervision when being out of his or her room.
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
6.1. CANCELLATION BY YOU
You (or any member of your party) may cancel your stay at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person submitting the booking form and is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is received by us. As this incurs administrative costs, we will refund you the paid fee proportionally
Retreat or workshop:

Upon delivering a medical record from a doctor, a 75% refund is guaranteed for announced cancellations before workshop begins.
Once your holiday has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your holiday will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.
Reservation can be modified/cancelled more than 48 hours before. Please, notify us by email or by phone of any modification for your booking at least 3 days (48 hours) before your arrival.
Reservations modified/cancelled later than 48 hours before arrival will be charged by 50% of the booking fee.
“No show” will not be refunded.
Cancellations of bookings made through other operators than through our websites, such as Booking.com or Expedia, will be charged according to their stated policies.
Additional charges for parking and electric car charging:
Parking at the hotel is available for free for hotel guests, restaurant guests and retreat participants.
Other visitors are charged 100 NOK per 24 hours, or 500 NOK per 7 days.
Charging of electric car is charged 240 NOK per 24 hours.
6.3 CANCELLATION BY US
Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel your stay in which case we will offer a refund in full.
7. INSURANCE & HEALTH
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE FULL TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER MEDICAL EXPENSES AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS.
You should have your own travel insurance and provide us with those details in case of emergency. You should also check with your doctor that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga classes and any other physical activity we have arranged, or you may arrange during your stay.
Amendments by you
If, after your payment has been credited to our account, you wish to change any part of your arrangements, or wish to change departure date, we will do our utmost to make the changes, provided that notification is received in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. We charge an amendment fee of 500 NOK per person.
Amendments by us
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your holiday, but we do plan the arrangements many months in advance. Occasionally, changes may have to be made (e.g. changes in program, type of accommodation, yoga teacher), which we reserve the right to do at any time. Changes are normally minor, and we will advise you as soon as possible. If the type of your accommodation must be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar or higher rating. Whilst we do our best to ensure that the yoga teacher advertised as the teacher for a holiday is the one who attends, we do sometimes have to change the yoga teacher and reserve the right to do so at any time. As all our yoga teachers are of a very high standard, we consider that a change of teacher is a minor change.
Compensation will not be paid if Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell is forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday due to war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other circumstances which amount to force majeure.
9. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the holidays that you book with us are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees, agents and suppliers except where they lead to death, injury or illness (see below).
We accept responsibility for death, injury or illness caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees or agents, together with our suppliers and sub-contractors, servants and/or agents of the same whilst acting within the scope of, or in the course of their employment in the provision of your holiday. We will, accordingly, pay to our client such damages as might have been awarded in such circumstances under Norwegian law.
Optional trips booked locally are not our responsibility.
If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform a member of our team immediately, who will endeavor to put things right. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you must advise us in writing on your return. Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of males/females in any group, and cannot be responsible for the individual behavior of any group member or other guest at your accommodation.
11. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas and any necessary or required inoculations or other health requirements.
All information will be used only for internal purposes and will not be shared with any third party. All information will be deleted after 2 years.
