With Kjersti Idem. A weekend for couples who want to invest in their relationship and come closer to each other.
Overview
How are you really doing? This retreat is for couples who want to invest in their relationship and come closer to each other. Slow down and discover new ways to meet both yourself and your partner.
Over three days of talks on emotional intelligence and good communication, yoga, Tension Releasing Exercises (TRE) and EQ therapy, you will gain a better understanding of why we are the way we are and do what we do. It is a good chance to create deeper contact, both with yourselves and with each other.
Some exercises are done together as a couple, some on your own. You decide how much you want to take part and share. The most important thing is that you come with an open mind and a wish to be curious about each other and to give your relationship time and attention.
There is room for big and small conversations, reflection and a good atmosphere, with relaxed shoulders and an open mind.
Some yoga experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
The practices
EQ therapy
You will experience and/or observe EQ therapy, an effective emotion-focused form of therapy, in the group. It can give valuable insight and new perspectives on patterns that can create distance in any relationship. The aim is greater understanding, security and closeness.
TRE (Tension Releasing Exercises)
You will also learn TRE, a natural method for regulating stress and calming the nervous system. When tension lets go, it becomes easier to be present and meet each other with openness and care.
Talk on emotional intelligence
How to build strong relationships, constructive communication and emotional skills.
Awareness exercises for couples
Exercises to do together as a couple, with a closing summary on Sunday.
Yoga
Morning yoga on Saturday and Sunday.
