Yoga for livet · Alexander Medin
As long as you can breathe, you can do yoga

"Breath and state of mind are closely linked," says Alexander Medin.
More calm in the breath gives more calm in the mind. Our thoughts churn constantly, but with more focus on the breath we can more easily hold what we are in, without acting destructively on swings in our feelings.
"As long as you can breathe, you can do yoga," says Medin, who tells of elderly people on their deathbeds being helped to find safety through focusing on the breath. This is the very essence of yoga.
We hope the year's first episode of Yoga for livet inspires you to go into 2024 with deeper breath and more presence.
